Stephen Bachelor ": externalized costs are problematic. Allowing agents to externalize costs and internalize gains, without any boundaries or compensating controls, can and will wreck a civilization" Agree. Which is why we need "common sense" restrictions on your freedom of speech / right to vote. You should not be allowed to spread logical fallacies, economically illiterate nostrums, and/or morally bankrupt policies. I propose that you pay $500/month into a "voter liability fund" to compensate the victims of bad voting, take a 9 month course on logic, ethical reasoning, and history (curricula defined by me), and pre-register all of your writing so that potentially bad ideas can be "red flagged" prior to publishing.
