Scott Chelette "But I still believe a 21 (or 25) age limit on assault rifles is a reasonable, moderate tradeoff, even if it only prevents a single mass murder." Infringing on the self defense rights of tens of millions of 18 - 23 year olds is not a reasonable, moderate tradeoff.  Just enforcing such a law will cause far more death than it will prevent.
