Jack Nadler I don't think other people owe you anything by the mere fact of your existence (aside from leaving you alone).  I also think that government monopolies--which can force you to pay regardless of your choice or quality of service--will eventually provide low quality, expensive service.  (Or no service at all, in the case of many schools during Covid).   I think most people would be better served by schools that must persuade you to provide funding/support.
