Carrie Radomski Your tax dollars support a number of violent, murderous cartels. Lot's of people work in professions (police, education, medicine) that cause great harm, and rely on violence to benefit themselves. For example, doctors typically support legislation to severely restrict new entrants into the physician labor market, give themselves a monopoly on prescriptions, and try to crush midwifery as a profession. All in an effort to prop up their own power and income.
