Women have a higher sex drive than they're sometimes given credit for. However, this drive to have sex is masked because they also have strong "brakes" that makes them selective about sexual partners, and willingness to have sex.
That's because women face much more severe consequences from making bad sexual choices. Few women want to be stuck raising a child alone. And they want to maximize the quality of their child's genetic endowment.
However, I'm skeptical that even taking these factors into account that women have as strong a sex drive as men:
* Testosterone mediates sex drive, and men have far higher levels than women.
* F->M trans people report being amazed at the increase in sex drive when they boost their testosterone levels. And I know personally at least two hetero AFAB women who report a big increase in sex drive after taking testosterone cream for medical conditions.
* Many more married men report being frustrated with "dead bedrooms" than married women.
And I'm willing to bet no one woman has ever done this:
