Joshua Goldbard  " this is precisely why crypto as an industry has been asking for regulation for over a decade." The whole point of bitcoin was to wrest control of the money supply from the incestuous finance/regulatory apparatus after the 2008 collapse.   FTX was trying to re-create the same regulatory moats that protect legacy financial firms from competition.  IMO, the last thing crypto needs is more regulations.
