# Brett Cashman If you keep someone in a sterile bubble throughout...

Brett Cashman If you keep someone in a sterile bubble throughout their childhood, they're not going to have much defense against bacterial attack when freed. Similarly, US citizens have been keep in a sterile bubble (financially speaking) for decades, and not allowed to make their own decisions about early stage investment. As a result, many are falling for the scammers. But, over time, I expect their financial immune systems will develop (sometimes through bitter experience), and the ability to grift will diminish.
