I can say with certainty that they hide some user reviews, even if they are not bots. (They hid my review of Hannah Gadsby's Nanette.) Whenever I see such a disparity, I attribute it to some combination of a) payola from studios b) fart-sniffing critics who try to differentiate themselves above the masses by praising dreary art films (e.g. Gaspar Noe, Lars Von Trier, Robert Eggers etc) c) woke critics toe-ing the line. In this case, a) and c) seem the most likely.
