Vito Rispo "The issue is too important to do nothing. " But isn't it often the case that we'd be better off if the government did nothing? Drug war? War on poverty? 9/11? How did government action improve any of those problems? "but this is literally ethnic cleansing" Aren't you the one advocating for broad use of state power to suppress the growth of ethnic groups you don't like? If it's bad for the left to try to dictate the ethnic makeup of the US, why is it good for you to do it? You think a bureaucrat would do a better job than you deciding who you can hire? Where you can live? Who you can love? And it wouldn't even be you, a reasonably intelligent person making such decisions, but one of the low information, low skill Democrats who occupy most civil service jobs. It's odd to me that people can readily recognize the flaws of centralized authoritarianism in other contexts, and yet still think their pet tyranny is a benevolent exception.
