Keegan UBI's also don't address the fact that many people are poor because they make bad decisions (abuse drugs, gamble, buy stupid crap, etc). Many UBI recipients would waste their money on their vices, leaving the rest of us in the same position of helping them directly (by providing food and housing) or letting them and their children suffer.
