Pawel Pachniewski It seems to me that some of the requirements for producing innovative, important work is openness to new ideas and tolerance of criticism.  Someone who wants to censor others demonstrates they have neither.  So, I don't think anything of value has been lost.  (I'm open to the possibility that I'm wrong though, so if you can point me to a flouncer who you think is otherwise doing good work, I'm happy to see it.)
