Jeffrey Ladish I don't think we should be so pessimistic.  Ants still exist and thrive despite the existence of humans (as do thousands of species of animals with lesser intelligence).  Our AI descendants will be the ones to explore the universe, but that doesn't mean that those who choose to remain OG humans can't co-exist.
