# Tyson Jeffrey Geib As I see it, positions are based on a) one's...

Tyson Jeffrey Geib As I see it, positions are based on a) one's values b) evidence c) logic. My values rarely change, if ever. Evidence is integrated into an interlocking theoretical framework in my head. I can't just reverse many beliefs without fundamentally shifting a whole bunch of other interlocking beliefs. So if I come across evidence that suggests a previous position was wrong (such as cholesterol causing heart disease), I'll note it, but I won't necessarily reverse my position.
