Tyson Jeffrey Geib Consider if the roles were reversed, and I promised to pay her $1000 if she had sex with me. And, after we have sex, I say "So long, sucker!" Have I not raped her, as her consent was contingent on payment afterward? Would she not be justified in using force to make me pay what I promised?
