# Imagine that you were dating a man who earned $100 K/year as a body...

Imagine that you were dating a man who earned $100 K/year as a body guard for wealthy CEO's, and imagine that you earned $500 K/year doing crypto trading. If you marry, does he deserve to receive half the household income ($300 K)? In my view, he does not, even though he is risking his life for the benefit of the family. He's being compensated for the risk he's taking on by the pay he receives at his job.
