Elliot  Freeman Any complex, novel endeavor must necessarily involve mistakes, unanticipated challenges no matter how skilled the team.  The explosion reveals a flaw that they can fix in the next iteration on the path to ultimate success.  If such explosions weren't happening sometimes, it would mean that they weren't making any progress.
