Tomasz Kaye The specifics of the prediction do matter, but there are also commonalities between Yuddites and [ Climate Change | Peak Oil | Nuclear | Jesus | Population Bomb | Y2K | Covid ] doomers.  And any proper analysis of AI risk must take into account the cost of AI risk mitigation strategies, and I rarely see doomers acknowledge such costs, let alone try to quantify them.
