Joshua Zader 1. True, they wouldn't change much because I try to think for myself. Though I take the opinions of other people into account (especially those of people I respect). 2. Okay, but to be useful in the fight, it must be spent, and Yuddites (by their own lights) claim to believe time is short. 3. Since many doomerists clearly aren't spending down their savings, it suggests that their true beliefs don't reflect their public claims. That seems to be a useful point to me.
