Dony Christie " Like, the strategem of Just Don't Build It is not one that people talk about lightly" Is it?  Can you point me to where Yudkowsky even mentions the opportunity cost of delay in his Time essay? https://time.com/6266923/ai-eliezer-yudkowsky-open-letter-not-enough/ "stop lumping everyone under "doomer" when many of us are futurist libertarians like you who want to live." Then speak up and defend liberty!  Defend the unseen victims of excessive regulation!    Don't let authoritarian technocrats who propose to murder people who disagree with them go unchallenged!  Fight against arrogant regulators who think they can possibly make better decisions than million of market actors each acting with their own local knowledge /  incentives.  Defend the right of people to experiment!
