William Kiely A doomer is someone who strongly believes that human extinction via nascient AI is imminent.  Many (most?) are authoritarian technocrats who want to use heavy handed regulation to stop all AI development indefinitely, and/or kill anyone who doesn't abide by their moratoriums.
