Thanks for the info! I wasn't aware that age of consent was so low in USVI prior to Epstein. The infantilization of teens is relatively recent phenomenon. Until the last 120 years or so, teens were expected to have sex, marry, bear children, etc. The age of consent was 12 for most of US history, only rising to 16 and above beginning around 1900. 100,000 male teens age 15 and under fought in the Civil War.
