Suzanne Hill The same way that humans are smarter than the animals we evolved from.  AI's are being closer to being "evolved" rather than "engineered". I don't think AI's are intelligent in the same way we are, because we don't really understand our own intelligence yet.  But I think that they are intelligent in the same way that an airplane can fly, even though they don't fly the same way a bird does.
