Richard Hodkinson They preceded Alcor in time, and Alcor now has one of CSC's former patients (James Bedford).  But Alcor and Cryonics Society of California are separate companies.  CSC's failure also influenced some of Alcor's policies, such as requiring payment in full before cryopreservation.
