Jon Beckmon We also don't know how many people would've been saved by the people Vader killed. Maybe one of those would've gone on to create a method for making everyone immortal Or maybe Vader in the course of killing hundreds of millions also killed Uber-Vader, a man who would've gone on to kill 100 times as many people as Vader himself did. Trying to calculate such second order effects quickly becomes impossible.
