Aline Roden > When a female fairy tale character goes on an adventure it's always because she seeks a lost family member or lover Or snacks. The pursuit or consumption of food often drives the plot forward in female-led adventures (Eve, Hansel and Gretel, Goldilocks, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, etc) > Also can you imagine when would actually happen to a young woman wandering alone? Being weaker and smaller makes adventures riskier for women, no doubt. However, female adventurers also have the option of seducing some male schmuck to protect them and do their dirty work for them.
