# Jo Hastings Which word? Agglomeration? I've lived in Silicon Valley...

Jo Hastings Which word? Agglomeration? I've lived in Silicon Valley most of my adult life--I'm pretty familiar with the advantages of big city living. It's a question of trade-offs. No, you won't find the high powered commercial real estate career you would have in NYC (unless maybe you served the Boston area), but you could find a comfortable real estate career of some kind. No, you probably won't be starting a chip fab plant in Manchester, but you could start a firm that used new chips fabbed in Shenzhen.
