Look into Ghost as well. You can self-host with Ghost, which means that you aren't subject to Substack's content restrictions (no porn, no "hate" speech, etc). Substack also doesn't allow you to accept payments through other platforms, ie you can't sell simultaneously through Substack and Patreon.
