Seems reasonable.  I would note that for $150 K more, he could hire a US surrogate, buy some eggs and the child would be 100% his.  Then there's no chance she could unilaterally abort / cut off access to his child / demand child support. If he's willing to go offshore, the cost drops to $80 - $100 K.
