There's a video making the rounds of a distraught woman who was on a plane flight and apparently hallucinating a man in the back of the plane.
While mental illness can cause such hallucinations, some commonly available medications can as well.
For example, Ambien can cause hallucinations. It wouldn't surprise me if she took some to help her sleep through the flight. Anti-depressants also potentiate Ambien's hallucinatory effects:

Benadryl (often taken for nausea) can also cause hallucinations. Shadow people / shadow men often feature in these hallucinations.
