Brett Cashman "Yes, I absolutely see the problem with state control of the tech. I just don't see it as materially *worse* than having AI oligarchs controlling the tech." Yes, some AI tech oligarchs are terrible, but you don't improve matters by turning control over to people who are at least as terrible, and also have the power to shoot you in the head if you don't do what they say.
