My response:\
\
You can\'t value anything if you\'re dead.\
\
Imagine if you were dying of thirst in the desert, and passerby said \"You know, you wouldn\'t value water very much if you bought a house by the lake.\" Maybe? So what? You\'d still very much like that glass of water now, right?\
\
Likewise, I\'d still much rather have millions of years to solve the problem of ennui, than become decrepit and die in the next 30 years.\
\
Worst case, if my life has lost its luster a million years from now, I can always kill myself.
