# Jillian Elliott You can't value anything if you're dead. lt's like...

*July 18, 2023 — Comment Archer T. Ships replied to Jillian Elliott's comment.*

Jillian Elliott You can't value anything if you're dead. lt's like telling a man near death of dehydration, "You know, you wouldn't value water very much if you bought a house by the lake." Maybe? So what? I'd still very much like that glass of water now. Likewise, I'd still much rather have millions of years to solve the problem of ennui, than become decrepit and die in the next 30 years. And if, a million years from now, my life has lost its luster, I can always kill myself.
