Parking is a scarce resource. If the owner didn't increase the price, it would be quickly snapped up, and there would be no parking available at all, at any price. A high price incentivizes those who _aren't_ attending the Swift concert to stay home. It also incentivizes others to open up more parking, such as the normally private lot of a nearby business, or the driveways of nearby homes.
