Avens O'Brien I agree.  Many people with low IQ, with proper training, can become productive members of society.  In some cases, they can become even more productive than some people with high IQ.  Even Down's kids can be trained to be mostly independent. I am saying that IQ (and other inborn traits) sets a ceiling to what people can accomplish, barring significant advances in somatic cell genetic engineering.
