Hailey Ann Pepperbottom No, that's not true. Some things you can do elsewhere, sure. Drugs, for example. But BM gathers together massive amounts of art that you almost never see anywhere else. A lifesize Trojan horse being pulled by 40 robed and sandled men. A calliope of Charon crossing the river Styx. A spinning circus wheel with baskets filled with embers. And the playa itself is uniquely beautiful. How many places do you go where there is no living thing for miles in all direction? Where 300 foot tall dust devils form? I recommend that everyone go at least once.
