I've always found "helicopter memes" repugnant.
First, communists are evil because of the violence they use to pursue their ends. For example, communists are notorious for rounding up their political enemies and murdering them.
So how does such behavior stop being evil when "libertarians" do it? People tied up in a helicopter are prisoners of war, not active combatants. Murdering prisoners of war is a war crime.
"According to the Third Geneva Convention of 1949, it is a war crime to willfully kill, mistreat, or torture prisoners of war, or to willfully cause great suffering or serious injury to body or health.0 Reprisals against prisoners of war are strictly forbidden, and no physical or mental coercion of any kind is permitted to secure information.2 War crimes also include acts such as mistreatment of prisoners of war or civilians, and are sometimes part of instances of mass murder and genocide."

Sometimes the Pinochet fan boys defend their behavior by claiming that communists aren't human. Dehumanizing prisoners is typically the first step to committing a war crime. If you treat prisoners as non-humans (rats, cockroaches, etc), it's easier to torture/murder them.

Ethics aside, it's flabbergasting to me that anyone thinks libertarians will be the ones throwing their enemies out of helicopters. Have they not noticed how unpopular libertarianism is?
Moreover, I don't trust the government to deliver my mail, why the hell would I trust them with the power to toss people out of helicopters?
