Emily de Cleyre Right, but you only invite men you like.  You don't pay for dinner for the men you don't like (or who don't like you).  Whereas men pay for the women who like them _and_ the women who don't like them. I'm going to amend my suggestion to "men should invite women _only_ on inexpensive first dates".
