Steven Postrel The both sides argument stems from the fact that the Israeli government--in order to force Hamas to return hostages--has cut off water/power/food, which will cause death in children from preventable disease (cholera), and eventually starvation. The Israeli bombing campaign is doubly stupid because making 2.3 million people homeless/starving will create fertile ground for radical recruitment / vengaence.
