Philip Greenspun Having lived in the Bay Area most of my life, I've never owned a dog, as it's difficult/costly enough to get housing without one. I'm going off the statistics, which are that there have been _50_ deaths caused by all dogs in total.   Given that there are 4-18 million pitbulls in the US, the risk of death is tiny.
