Judging from the comments on his page, it appears that Steven B Harris has died. My deepest sympathies to his friends and family.\
\
I worked with him at 21st Century Medicine, and he always struck me as kind and highly knowledgeable across many disciplines. He\--along with Mike Darwin, Brian Wowk, and Greg Fahy\--deserves kudos for advancing the state of the art of cryobiological science. (1)\
\
He was one of the few MD\'s willing to publicly stick up for cryonics research in the face of severe professional ostracism. (2) He also assisted with a number of cryonics cases.\
\
I hope that he was successfully cryopreserved, and that he will someday enjoy much more life thanks to the technology he helped to advance.\
