Michael Nolan IMO, people deserve credit for what they do when they have resources and power, not what they do when they're desperate and have no other choice. If Jenny and Forrest's roles were reversed, her monstrous behavior would be more clear.  Imagine an adult man of normal intelligence screwing a retarded woman, then kidnapping her child for years, only to return the child when he's impoverished and dying of AIDs.
