IMO, the biggest point of leverage would be to put money into seeing that the US separates gracefully into smaller states. IMO, many of our government's pathologies result from the fact that we're trying to govern a country of 330 million with a system designed for 3 million. Many US states are the size of full fledged countries--California's economy, for example, is about equal to that of France. The people of CA would be happier if they didn't have to accommodate the values of the people of TX (and vice versa). As it is now, large swaths of the country must necessarily be unhappy, no matter who wins.
