In what ways are your kids misbehaving?  I don't have kids of my own yet, but I was the eldest of five growing up.  Perhaps some of my Mom's techniques could help you?  My siblings and I were no angels much of the time, but I think my Mom could successfully take us out in public without much fear that we would embarass her or disrupt others around us.
