As I see it, there are several categories of people (mostly women) who use sex to gain fame, money, power, attention, etc: escorts camgirls porn stars sexy Instagram / Tiktok influencers Twitch streamers AI / vocaloids sexy civilians However, while all of the above use sex for gain, not all of them are sex workers (which I would define as someone who trades sex for money).  IMO, we need a word that encompasses trading "sex for gain" more broadly.  E-thot succinctly fits the bill.
