I used to think most people were open to logic and evidence. That they cared about being internally consistent, and tried to avoid being a hypocrite. And I would waste time constructing careful arguments, supported by high quality evidence.\
\
I\'ve since realized it\'s almost always a waste of time. Most people don\'t give a shit about the truth. Often, they don\'t even realize they\'re being internally inconsistent.
