BTW, the reason I bring I up left leaning anti-choice people/ideologies is not because I think that anti-choice conservatives are any less reprehensible. It's because I doubt most people reading this have many Republican friends who live in Alabama.  Therefore, complaining about Alabama Republicans isn't likely to influence anyone who could change the policy. Whereas many here I suspect have left-leaning, "feminist" friends.  And left-leaning Democrats wholly dominate California politics.  So pointing out and condemning anti-choice leftists has a much higher potential impact.
