Monero... ...can be mined on commodity hardware (no dependence on centralized miners or specialized ASIC mining machines) ...has an automatically adjustable block size (no high fees, long wait times during congestion) ...is truly private on the base layer (no broken lightning network) and thus has both privacy and fungibility Almost all darknet markets--whose users lives and freedom depend on maintaining their privacy--have switched from Bitcoin to Monero.
