SBF/FTX was busy lobbying Congress to shutdown decentralized exchanges (which competed with his centralized exchanges) when his scam was discovered.  You think there aren't more sociopathic whales out there?   You think Black Rock is going to sit still while the billions it has spent on Bitcoin ETF's evaporates?
