Jamie Jonas If I have a peanut allergy, whose responsibility is it to make sure that my dining partners know? IMO, it's my responsibility, not theirs. Having been told, if they then subsequently put peanuts into my food, _then_ I think they're guilty of causing me harm (whether through negligence or malice). Likewise, if monogamy is a dealbreaker for me, it's my responsibility to make sure my partners know. Not everyone wants or cares about monogamy, and they can't read my mind. I'm also perfectly capable of refraining from sex unless/until I've made my conditions clear and they've agreed to them.
