Paul C. Jeffries The point of posting the articles is to show that minimum wage laws are having the predicted effects: low skill workers who aren't worth $20/hour are being fired, and replaced with automation. So, instead of earning $8/hour or $15/hour or whatever their true market worth, they make $0. I don't expect progressive partisans to be persuaded. Even total economic collapse--as happened when the automotive unions destroyed Detroit--doesn't seem to budge progressive ideologues. But I hope that a) my liberty loving, economically literate friends in CA will leave to saner pastures b) that those who already live in saner pastures will not let the socialist mind virus that's destroying CA to take hold in their states.
